From 31 October to 2 November 2016 six students and five teachers visited our longstanding counterpart, Tampere Sammon Keskuslukio. Meeting with old and new friends was heartening, active and interesting. They examined Tampere school’s teamwork week activities, visited lessons and went on the city tour, practiced Finnish and English and discussed about the further cooperation. Estonian students offered musical entertainment in the school’s atrium.
Increasing diversity and complexity of such situation, it is good to work with such people, who are as close to culture and the ways of thinking. The cooperation between Tamme Gymnasium and Messukylän Lukio is the oldest still-functioning cooperation between these two compulsory schools after Estonia regained independence.
