From 27 March to 31 March took place third international studying camp Erasmus+ project’s Contemporary Literacy in Contemporary Kids in the little Varde city in Denmark. Our school was represented by eleventh humanitarian class students Angela Allik and Kristi Kütt and teachers Liia Vijand and Triin Lingiene. The topics of the studying camp were political and intercultural competences. They dived in subjects such as immigration, refugees, human rights, democracy and different facets of citizenship. Educational presentations alternated with workshops and meetings with local politicians, opinion leaders and the youth shelter in Denmark. In addition the participants enjoyed a varied cultural program. A great understanding and sense between students and teachers from six partner schools may be considered as the greatest value of the studying camp.
